Dear David and Alison We are basking in the afterglow of our wonderful time with you in Wiltshire. We enjoyed some golden weekend days in London, then flew back to our workaday lives in Florida, still picturing one of the most memorable holidays we've ever had.
All of the arrangements made by FootTrails were superb, and efficiently done. David's guidance and companionship on the walks gave depth and meaning to the sights we saw. The choice of trails and scenery was inspired. We can't say enough about the excellence of FootTrails and the perfection of our holiday with you.
Many, many thanks. Ervin and Julia

Weenesday – A leisurely start before our walk sees us out on the borders of Wiltshire and Somerset, an area steeped in the history of Alfred the Great. Passing towers and follies we make our way through the wider
living landscape that surrounds Stourhead. We will explore these famous gardens where we
will find spring bursting over some of the most magical views and scenes ever created. Inspiration for many artists, poets and landscape designers for centuries, our 1.5 mile walk around the lake will reveal why. Back for afternoon tea and to refresh before dinner.
On Thursday your last walk, 5 miles called Refreshing Spring. You will explore Wiltshire´s medieval villages and gorgeous old cottages and enjoy lunch at the end of your trail, to see on your way, totally refreshed and relaxed.
