The name sums it up, this is a walking weekend for the senses, crammed full of autumnal pleasures. Based near Cheltenham, in the country, the break is filled with with gorgeous seasonal walks, fresh country air, earthy scents, woodland strolls, friendly country pubs, everything you need to escape for a few days, and enjoy relaxed country style...

Our special 2 night holiday is based in a 17th century village inn, a gorgeous inn with delightful bedrooms in a purpose built cottage, oodles of charm and character, roaring log fires and low hung wooden beams. Wake for breakfast, continental or bacon and eggs, then off out to explore the local Cotswolds countryside.

On day one, Woodland Paradise, an 8 mile walk that will give you all the earthy scents and autumnal colours you could wish for. The walk features Beech, as well as a hidden woodland roman villa and a gorgeous country pub for lunch. On day two, Golden Valley, a 6 1/2 mile walk, just made for autumn, this valley comes alive with colour this time of year, and is dotted with mills, unspoilt villages and cotswold stone cottages. Fabulous country pub for lunch. With our walk pack and well researched trails you won't get lost - just follow the trails on the maps, or, if you don't want to map read, follow our easy to follow trail cards, packed with local stories and histories.

Back to the inn each day for restaurant standard food, including the delicious local trout, and perhaps a pint by the fire?

Includes: 2 nights accommodation with creature comforts, en-suite at an award-winning country inn, breakfast, 2 days independent walking, walk pack with local Ordnance survey maps with your trails marked, or alternatively, waterproof trail cards, easy to follow (no need to map read) one for each day, fungi spotting nature guide and suggested itinerary and lunch spots.
