Welcome
to our celebration of summer walking
and those fabulous lazy, hazy English days
When days lengthen and the sun begins to shine, rural England is a wonderful place to be. Our walking trips are expertly crafted with you and the season in mind. Many of our trips offer opportunities for a rest beneath the shade of a leafy oak or cool woodland glade, so don't think summertime is too hot for walking.
Like all the British seasons, summer has its own delights, and we've packed the best sights and several hidden idylls into our Foot Trails trips. The fields and hedgerows come alive with vivid red poppies and blue and purple cornflowers... meadows burst forth with carpets of wild flowers, grasses and Orchids and the rolling landscapes are filled with varied colours of green and gold. Warmer weather means alfresco eating and picnics. Many of our trips feature village stores and delicatessens where you can stock up on tasty treats, or sit beneath the shade of a parasol at one of our carefully chosen country pubs. Just pop in some sun cream and your sunglasses!
