A Medieval Castle in South Wiltshire
 
This is an easy walk, due to the terrain which undulates slightly, but has no steep hills. The walk can be either 8 or 10 miles long. The walk starts in Tisbury, Wiltshire and can be reached either by car or by train, starting at the train station there.
This is a very beautiful walk amongst countryside and medieval villages that are reticent of old England. On route there is much to discover and explore with gorgeous stone cottages, many thatched, and a 14th century castle that is England's only hexagonal castle. A wonderful place to explore in itself you can climb stone staircases to discover the former grand banqueting hall and many other rooms of the castle including kitchen and bedrooms, and lake filled grounds.
Lunch is available on route, either at a wonderful country pub, or from a local deli, giving you an alfresco picnic on route.
