Relax and recharge in rural South West England

Our friendly small groups of 8 – 12 guests gives an atmosphere many group walking holidays cannot achieve. We welcome a great mix of solos, couples and friends.

From 2 to 6 days, you will walk with local guide David Howell. David grew up in the Cotswolds, lived in Wiltshire for 12 years and now lives in Somerset. David´s knowledge and expertise of the area is expressed through his walking routes, and conveyed through stories and tales as you walk. He is often known to tweak the routes and make little changes appropriate to the weather or season, or groups wishes!

He also knows the most amazing spot for elevenses's. A famous Foot Trails event. Warm rug, hot tea and coffee, proper cookies and of course a fabulous view late morning.

Everyone looks forward to lunch. Especially when it is a proper lunch at a great country pub on route, not a squashed cheese sandwich! Chill out with great food and when the weather is fine out come the hampers for an alfresco picnic.

After a fantastic day walking and exploring, it´s back to your English country inn. Here you can relax in gorgeous surroundings. Bedrooms and bars with creature comforts, character old buildings with rich fabrics and fireplaces and terrific local food in the restaurant. A wonderful way to end your day.
