Win one of 5 bottles of 5 year old cider brandy
by award winning Burrow Hill Cider Farm, Somerset
5 bottles available

This delicious after dinner apple brandy is smooth and complex with a velvety palate and a sweet spicy aftertaste.

The Somerset Cider Brandy Company, based at Burrow Hill Farm in Somerset have led the revival of interest in apple brandy in England. Somerset Cider Brandy evokes all the magic and mystery of the West Country's proud cider making and apple growing tradition. It is matured in small oak barrels.

At Burrow Hill apples have been grown and cider has been pressed for at least 150 years. It is the soil climate and the apple varieties which give the cider and cider brandy their unique quality. It has long been recognised that for growing apples for fermenting England has three 'vintage' areas: all are in Somerset; and at Burrow Hill, Kingsbury Episcopi, the farm is right in the middle of one.

Drinks made here have many awards, and most recently Julian Temperly and his ciders and apple brandies were recognised in a reception hosted by Prince Charles at the BBC London where Hugh Fernley Whittingstall presented him with "Special Judges Award - Best Food Producer 2009". Well done Burrow Hill.
